Thirty-four protagonists of today’s fair Verona
Verona is a beautiful city.
It possesses great cultural, artistic and monumental wealth, which places it among the greatest in Italy, and therefore in the world.
But that’s not all.
It has been inhabited since the dawning of humanity, by the Neanderthal men, before Homo sapiens. Our territory includes an extraordinary variety of different landscapes, types of vegetation, terrain and microclimates. They are all pleasant and interesting.
Over the centuries, our province has offered asylum for numerous peoples, housing populations passing through, and suffering under a great variety of dominations, whereby it collected aspects from every culture, with characteristics forming a historical melting pot, to be casted as a lifestyle, source of creativity, cuisine, productivity, and the character of the Veronese people as we know them today.
This is precisely why we have decided to talk about Verona and its surrounding province in a special way: there is no list of famous monuments, villages, hamlets, etc. but stories about people, about their ideas, activities, and dreams.
In a word, the protagonists of Verona.
Now it’s up to you to decipher the complex message of what Verona is all about, by discovering the character and works of its children, the heirs of a very long history. We hope to arouse your curiosity and interest, to excite your desire for visiting our territory, for tasting our delights, and savoring Verona lifestyle. Now, why not strike up great fun and working relationships with Verona’s most excellent protagonists.
